Sub: Increasing Price of Essential CommoditiesÂ
Sir,Â
Through the column of your esteemed daily, I would like to ventilate my deep concern about the problem of ever increasing price of essential commodities in recent times causing a great problem faced by the people as a whole. Â
It is high time to pay the attention to the price of essential commodities as it has been reaching the sky heights in a rocketing speed. The common people, specially the people of low income group and daily labourers suffer greatly and passing their each and every day in constant anxiety.
The prices of essential goods like vegetables, oil, clothes, baby food and even the life saving medicines are going beyond the buying capacity of common people. Most of the people suppose this is due to the ever increasing price of petrol and diesel. Even the charges of electricity and LPG cylinders are increasing unrelentingly.
Some government policies are responsible not to confine the price within limits. The government should chalk out some plannings to bring the situation under control. We all know that the price hike decreases our living standard and increases the corruption in hoarders and blackmarkteers.Â
So, I earnestly request you to take your mighty pen to draw the attention of the government to take strong and stringent measures to curb out the situation as soon as possible.Â
Thanking you,Â
Yours Sincerely,Â
Dilip Roy
