This scholarship, which covers the full tuition fees and provides a maintenance grant of £11700, is awarded to eligible international students applying for full-time graduate studies in Islamic and the Islamic world.

This scholarship, which covers the full tuition fees and provides a maintenance grant of £12300 for graduate students and £9225 for undergraduate students, is awarded to eligible candidates from Armenia or of Armenian descent. (7) Santander DPhil Scholarship – Spanish Studies:

Santander is a leading global bank. Between 196 and 2008, Santander has channeled 600 million Euros into scholarship of academic, research and technological projects in support of higher education. Oxford is one of the 700 academic institutions that collaborate with Santander.

Santander Graduate Award will be made to support a full-time student for a DPhil in Spanish or Spanish American Literary or Linguistic Studies (Faculty of Medieval and Modern Languages). (9) China Oxford Scholarship Fund:

The China Oxford Scholarship Fund (COSF) was established in 1992 to provide scholarships for students from China who have been accepted for postgraduate studies at Oxford and who will return and contribute to he future development of China after their studies. COSF is run by volunteers, and is completely independent of the University. (11) Noon Educational Foundation Oxford Scholarships:

The Noon Educational Foundation was established in 1992 by Lady Viqarunnissa Noon to support scholars from Pakistan to study at leading universities in the United Kingdom. The scholarships at Oxford are funded by the Foundation, the University and a number of generous partners.

Applicants should be citizens of Pakistan and be resident in Pakistan. Candidates who have previously studied outside of Pakistan will not normally be considered. Applicants must be planning to return to Pakistan after completing their studies.

Awards are based on the following key criteria:

The potential contribution made by the applicant on their return to Pakistan.

The Oxford Scholarships are awarded to eligible Japanese nationals applying to start a new graduate course in any subject at Oxford University.

The Oxford Kobe Scholarships are funded by an endowment managed by the University of Oxford. It was created by a benefaction given by St. Catherine’s College and offered with approval of the Kobe Institute and the Japan Foundation.

The Pacific Alliance Oxford Scholarships aim to enable academically excellent Chinese students to pursue doctoral studies at the University of Oxford. Successful scholars will be expected to return to China upon completion of their degree.

(14) University of Oxford Croucher Scholarships:

Croucher Scholarships aim to provide eligible students who can demonstrate academic excellence with the opportunity to pursue postgraduate research study at the University of Oxford. The scheme is jointly funded by the Croucher Foundation and the University of Oxford.

Candidates should be permanent residents of Hong Kon. They should also hold a undergraduate degree with first class honours (or equivalent) or a substantive postgraduate degree at masters level (or above).

(15) Charlie Perkins Scholarships:

The Charlie Perkins Scholarships were established in 2009 to commemorate Dr Charles Perkins AO, who was the first indigenous Australian man to graduate from university and the first indigenous head of an Australian Government Department. Applicants for the Charlie Perkins Scholarship must be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent; and be accepted as such by the community in which they live or have lived.

Applicants must provide a written statement from an elder in, or representative on behalf of, the community in which they live or have lived confirming this. This will count as one of the five references required to be submitted with the application that is made directly to the Charlie Perkins Trust.

Candidates should be applying to start a new graduate course at Oxford in any subject. The scholarship covers full tuition fees and provides a maintenance grant of £13500. The scholarships are tenable at a number of participating Oxford colleges: Balliol, Corpus Christi, Green Templeton, Jesus, Keble, Linacre, St Catherine’s, Trinity and Wolfson.

(16) Fulbright Oxford Clarendon Scholarship:

This scholarship is awarded to eligible students from USA planning to undertake a doctoral program (DPhil) in any field (other than medical which involve patient interaction) at the University of Oxford. At the same time as applying to Oxford, candidates should also apply to the Clarendon Fund by ticking the Clarendon Fund Box in the University of Oxford Scholarships section of the of the application form for graduate study. Only candidates who are selected by both Fulbright and Clarendon will be considered for a Fulbright-Oxford Clarendon Scholarship.
