Madhyamik English Reduced Syllabus, Distribution of Marks and Question Patterns and Suggestion
In the present context of COVID-19 situation, as the most of the schools were closed, the Department of Education, Government of West Bengal has reduced the English syllabus of Madhyamik around 30-35% for the year 2022.

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education conducts Madhyamik Examination. Students are to appear for 90 Marks written examination in English Subject.
What are the Questions Patterns and Distribution of Marks of Madhyamik English Subject?
The following is the Distribution of Marks and Question Patterns of English Subject for Madhyamik Examination.
Questions Patterns of English Subject for Madhyamik Examination are divided into Three Sections- A, B, C
Section-A includes Prose, Poem and Reading Comprehension(Unseen) which carries 40 Marks
Section-B includes Grammar and Vocabulary which carries 20 Marks.
