Education is an essential part of a living being whether it is a boy or a girl. Education helps an individual to be smarter,  to learn new things and to know about facts of the world. 

 

Education plays the most important role in women empowerment. It helps to put a stop to discrimination based on gender.  Education is the first step to give the women the necessary power to choose the right way of life she wants to lead.

 

Education helps women to be more productive in her work. An educated woman has the skills of information, confidence, talent that help her to be successful as a mother, employee, administrator and many more. Men and women are like two sides of a coin to contribute to the country’s development.

 

In India where a large part of population constitutes women, girl education serves as an essential part of social and economic development. The government has taken various steps like “Beti Bachao- Beti Padhao”, “Kanyashree” to educate the girl child.

 

Women education in recent time is quite good but in ancient times it was not satisfactory due to numerous limitations and barriers. It is very important to understand that an educated woman can bring the bright future of her next generation.
